Manufacturing Technician III, Mechanic - DAP (Nights)

What you will do

• Set up, operate, monitor, and maintain packaging equipment, including manual packaging and line clearances.
• Provide first-line technical support to production technicians and troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance, interpret schematics and maintenance manuals, and support equipment qualification and process validation.
• Monitor incoming, in-process, and finished material quality and escalate concerns.
• Complete batch records, GMP documentation, CMMS entries, SOP reviews, and routine calculations.
• Support lean manufacturing, 5S, problem-solving, equipment training, and daily tier meetings.

Requirements

• Experience with equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, or preventive maintenance in a manufacturing setting.
• Progressive experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or cGMP-regulated manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of cGMP regulations, documentation practices, deviation reporting, and data integrity.
• Mechanical and technical aptitude, including the ability to interpret schematics and maintenance manuals.
• Ability to independently execute procedures, troubleshoot routine issues, and review batch records, CMMS entries, and controlled documents.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English; ability to work onsite in Blue Ash, Ohio, on a 12-hour night shift.

Nice to have

• High school, vocational school, or equivalent education.
• 2+ years of pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or cGMP-regulated manufacturing experience.
• Lean manufacturing, equipment OJT training, Microsoft applications, SAP, or Veeva Vault experience.
