Manufacturing Technician II (Biomanufacturing)

Location: Blue Ash, Ohio, USA; onsite day shift

Salary: $21.50–$32.00 per hour

What you will do

• Operate packaging and device assembly machinery, including equipment setup, recipe selection, SCADA and HMI data entry, material loading, and minor adjustments.
• Perform manual packaging, rework, palletizing, material handling, and product-flow activities.
• Conduct visual inspections, sampling, in-process monitoring, line clearances, cleaning, and housekeeping in controlled and non-classified areas.
• Troubleshoot minor equipment issues, clear jams, identify defects, and escalate concerns to manufacturing leadership.
• Complete inventory reconciliation and material records using SAP and WES.
• Complete batch records and GMP documentation, follow safety procedures, and support equipment qualification, validation, 5S, and process improvement activities.

Requirements

• Prior experience in a regulated manufacturing environment; pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or cGMP experience is preferred.
• Accurate documentation and data-entry skills, including batch records and logbooks.
• Basic mathematical and problem-solving skills, including routine weights, measures, and conversions.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English to interpret SOPs, batch records, and work instructions.
• Ability to follow written procedures with minimal supervision and work effectively in a fast-paced production team.
• Ability to work a 12-hour day shift on a 2/2/3 schedule and perform non-sedentary duties, including repetitive motion and exerting up to 100 pounds of force.

Nice to have

• High school, vocational school, or equivalent education.
• Experience with lean manufacturing, cGMP principles, Microsoft applications, SAP, or Veeva Vault.
