Business Strategy Senior Advisor (Fintech)

Location: Hybrid/remote within approximately 70 miles of an office in Allen, Texas; Birmingham, Alabama; Cedar Falls, Iowa; Charlotte, North Carolina; Lenexa, Kansas; Louisville, Kentucky; Monett, Missouri; or Springfield, Missouri. Travel up to 25% may be required, and onsite interviews or in-person onboarding may be required.

What you will do

• Develop strategies, plans, proposals, and roadmaps addressing business challenges for financial institution clients.
• Advise financial institution executives and board members on digital technology trends, competition, and strategic opportunities.
• Assess technology effectiveness, digital maturity, business processes, and current-state practices.
• Design and implement transformational programs covering technology, organizational design, communications, and process management.
• Conduct stakeholder interviews, focus groups, market research, and competitive analysis.
• Synthesize findings and present evidence-based recommendations for projects, programs, and solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or an additional eight years of credit union experience.
• At least 15 years of credit union experience.
• Must live within approximately 70 miles of one of the specified U.S. office locations.
• Must be able to travel up to 25%.

Nice to have

• PMP certification or an equivalent certification.
• Extensive knowledge of the financial services industry and its technology practices.
• Success leading strategy and execution at major financial institutions.
• Experience leading large, visible, enterprise-wide transformation initiatives.
• Strong communication, relationship-building, deadline management, and outcome orientation.
