Senior Network and Computer Systems Administrator (Windows/Linux/VMware)

What you will do

• Provide onsite technical support to field offices supporting a large federal program.
• Conduct network performance evaluations and monitor system health.
• Maintain the reliability and security of critical IT infrastructure.
• Manage patching, performance tuning, and troubleshooting activities.
• Support Windows, Linux, and VMware environments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in IT, computer science, or a related field.
• 8 years of systems administration experience with Windows, Linux, or VMware environments.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Red Hat, CentOS, VMware vSphere, and ESXi.
• Proficiency in PowerShell, Bash, or Python, with experience in system monitoring, patch management, and performance tuning.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, teamwork, and multitasking skills.

Nice to have

• Microsoft Windows Server, RHCSA, RHCE, or VMware VCP certification.
• Experience with government IT environments, regulatory requirements, data security practices, and related policies.
• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
