Senior Systems Administrator

What you will do

• Administer Windows and Linux server environments across on-premises and cloud-hosted infrastructure.
• Manage Active Directory, Okta, Entra ID, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, certificate services, identity platforms, and Microsoft 365.
• Support VMware and Hyper-V virtualization, enterprise storage, backup, disaster recovery, monitoring, and infrastructure lifecycle management.
• Assist with Azure, AWS, hybrid identity, cloud migrations, and infrastructure modernization initiatives.
• Implement security controls, patching, vulnerability remediation, hardening, access reviews, logging, and infrastructure incident response.
• Lead infrastructure projects, mentor junior administrators, improve operations through automation, and collaborate with networking, security, application, business, and vendor teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 7+ years of enterprise systems administration experience.
• Strong Windows Server administration experience and working knowledge of Linux, including Red Hat, Rocky, Ubuntu, or similar distributions.
• Experience with Active Directory, Entra ID, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, Microsoft 365, VMware or Hyper-V, and backup and disaster recovery technologies.
• Experience with PowerShell and at least one additional scripting language such as Bash or Python.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, VPNs, routing, switching, firewalls, troubleshooting, documentation, and technical communication.

Nice to have

• Experience with Azure, AWS, Autopilot, modern endpoint management, infrastructure as code, automation, or configuration management.
• Experience supporting enterprise cybersecurity initiatives and production Linux environments.
• Knowledge of Docker or Kubernetes.
• Microsoft, VMware, Red Hat, or Azure certifications.
• Experience supporting distributed or global organizations.
