HR Generalist (Manufacturing)

Location: Badin, North Carolina, USA; onsite in a manufacturing environment

Base salary: $55,000–$88,000 USD per year, plus eligibility for an annual bonus or role-based sales incentive plan.

What you will do

• Partner with manufacturing leadership, Operations, and EHS teams across multiple departments and shifts.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, leadership development, succession planning, employee engagement, and staffing initiatives.
• Coach supervisors and managers on performance management, employee development, corrective actions, accountability, and conflict resolution.
• Investigate employee concerns, policy violations, complaints, and workplace conflicts while supporting positive associate relations.
• Analyze turnover, absenteeism, staffing, engagement, training, and workforce demographic data to develop retention and effectiveness recommendations.
• Support compensation initiatives, policy implementation, labor-law compliance, leave-of-absence cases, training programs, and community activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
• 3–5 years of progressive Human Resources experience.
• Strong knowledge of employment laws, employee relations, performance management, and recruiting.
• Experience handling sensitive and confidential information, resolving conflicts, and managing multiple priorities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Workday, and UKG Workforce Management.
• Experience supporting manufacturing, distribution, or other operational environments.

Nice to have

• PHR, SHRM-CP, or a related HR certification.
• Experience recruiting skilled trades and production employees.
• Experience preparing and analyzing HR metrics reports.
• Experience championing safety culture and continuous improvement in manufacturing.
