HR Generalist (AI)

Location: Remote; full-time salaried employees must currently reside in AZ, CA, CO, FL, GA, IL, MA, NC, NJ, NV, NY, OR, TN, TX, UT, VA, or Ontario, Canada. Full-time hourly employees must reside in AZ, FL, GA, NV, NY, NC, TN, TX, UT, or VA.

Salary: $80,000–$100,000 per year, plus potential stock options or equity.

What you will do

• Manage day-to-day employee lifecycle administration, including onboarding, offboarding, employee files, and benefits administration.
• Partner with hiring managers on onboarding setup, I-9 verification, state new-hire filings, and benefits enrollment deadlines.
• Research employment law requirements, monitor HR compliance, and draft policies and procedures for leadership review.
• Prepare offer letters, employment contracts, onboarding materials, and other HR documentation.
• Serve as a first point of contact for employee questions and resolve day-to-day HR issues.
• Support engagement initiatives and streamline HR processes using AI tools and automation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
• 2–4 years of hands-on HR generalist experience, preferably in a small or high-growth company.
• Working knowledge of HR compliance and employment law fundamentals.
• Experience building HR automations and systems and working with HRIS platforms.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, communicate clearly, and handle confidential information with sound judgment.

Nice to have

• SHRM-CP or PHR certification.
