Senior Product Engineer (AI)

What you will do

• Own a product domain end-to-end, from understanding customer problems and prototyping to production delivery.
• Build across backend, frontend, and mobile layers using AI-assisted development, with primary depth in Java/Spring Boot, Angular, or Kotlin/KMP.
• Design autonomous agent loops, including tool permissions, failure recovery, delegation decisions, and production safeguards.
• Build evaluation frameworks and measurement systems to test and score model outputs before deployment.
• Debug and modernize legacy codebases and infrastructure while maintaining platform stability and performance.
• Lead technical quality through code reviews, automated testing, maintainable architecture, and collaboration within a small autonomous squad.

Requirements

• 8+ years of software engineering experience delivering products end-to-end.
• Deep expertise in at least one of Java/Spring Boot, Angular, or Kotlin/KMP, plus effective work across other stack layers.
• Hands-on experience spanning more than one layer, such as backend and frontend or web and mobile.
• Daily practical use of AI development tools such as Cursor or Claude Code, with experience building evaluations for model output.
• Strong architectural judgment, including system boundaries, edge cases, and long-term technical direction.
• Excellent English and availability to work remotely from Europe; candidates located in Belarus or Russia cannot be considered.

Nice to have

• Experience with Python or native iOS/Android development.
• Background in InsurTech, PropTech, or property restoration.
• Experience integrating LLM features into customer-facing applications using OpenAI, Anthropic APIs, LangChain, or vector databases.
