Business Operations Manager (SaaS)

Location: Must be based in San Francisco, CA. This is a hybrid role requiring in-office attendance on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays.

Salary: $150,000–$175,000 per year.

What you will do

• Partner with senior leadership across Engineering, Product, and Design to define and implement company-wide strategy.
• Structure ambiguous strategic problems by building detailed business cases and quantitative models.
• Manage key drivers of business performance and identify new growth opportunities.
• Analyze competitive positioning and market landscapes to inform strategic recommendations.
• Develop scalable operational solutions that balance broad vision with practical constraints.

Requirements

• 5+ years of strategy experience, including 2+ years in management consulting or a related field.
• Strong quantitative and financial modeling skills with high attention to detail.
• Excellent executive-level written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be based in San Francisco, CA and able to work from the office on Anchor Days.
• Hands-on fluency with AI tools (e.g., Notion AI, Claude, ChatGPT) and active experimentation with new workflows.
• Data self-sufficiency, including working knowledge of SQL.

Nice to have

• Prior experience in strategy and operations within B2B SaaS businesses.
• Experience with pricing and packaging strategies, particularly for AI products.
