Location: Hard Rock Casino Rockford, Rockford, Illinois, United States; onsite on the slot floor

Salary: $48,000–$62,400 per year

What you will do

• Supervise assigned slot-floor areas and electronic gaming device operations during the shift.
• Manage, train, develop, counsel, and evaluate Slot Department employees.
• Plan, assign, and direct work while addressing employee and guest complaints and resolving problems.
• Enforce department policies, procedures, federal and state requirements, and Illinois gaming regulations.
• Monitor slot-related operations, identify cheating techniques, and maintain service standards for guests.
• Prepare routine reports, work with computers and large amounts of cash, and attend seminars when required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of supervisory experience; related education and experience may be interchangeable.
• Must obtain and maintain all licenses and certifications required by federal, state, and Illinois Gaming Commission regulations.
• Must successfully pass a background check and be at least 21 years old.
• Must be available for holidays, weekends, flexible shifts, and unusual hours.
• Ability to communicate effectively, interpret operating and safety documents, supervise others, and work in varying crowd and noise conditions.

• Prior slot experience.
• Prior gaming industry experience.
• Experience opening new properties or outlets.
• Knowledge of Hard Rock operations, slot machinery, games manuals, and gaming policies.
