Consumer Credit Officer

Location: Las Vegas, Nevada, United States; Monday–Saturday shifts, with evening and weekend flexibility required.

Salary: $20.00–$25.00 per hour. Eligible targets include a 10% annual discretionary cash bonus and a 10% annual discretionary restricted stock units bonus.

What you will do

• Review consumer installment loan applications and supporting documentation to assess applicants’ financial condition and make decisions within lending guidelines.
• Document underwriting rationale clearly for audit and forensic review.
• Identify suspicious information and online fraud indicators, and report emerging trends to management.
• Discuss loan decisions with applicants, lead source providers, and dealerships.
• Support credit staff training and recommend system and process improvements.
• Meet performance expectations for quality control, application volume, and time to decision.

Requirements

• At least one year of experience underwriting consumer unsecured loans.
• Knowledge of lending regulations, principles, and concepts.
• Strong understanding of online lending, fraud risk, and suspicious data attributes.
• Experience training and supporting others with loan decisions.
• Flexibility to work Monday through Saturday, including possible evening and weekend hours.
• Employment is subject to credit, criminal background, drug, and U.S. work-eligibility screening through E-Verify.
