Demand Planning & SIOP Lead

Location: Remote, with a preference for hybrid work. Candidates must reside in Hattiesburg, MS; Kohler, WI; or Milwaukee, WI. Relocation support is available for qualified applicants. Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.

What you will do

• Lead demand planning, statistical forecasting, forecast alignment, and demand scenario development at product-family and finished-goods specification levels.
• Partner with Sales and customers to identify and close volume gaps against monthly, quarterly, and annual FINPLAN commitments.
• Lead customer forecast reviews, improve forecast accountability, and track changes in demand and buying patterns.
• Support monthly SIOP activities, facilitate consensus planning across Sales, Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, and Customer Service, and present recommendations to executives.
• Use Kinaxis RapidResponse, SAP ERP, Power BI, and advanced Excel models to improve forecast reliability, inventory performance, customer service, and revenue attainment.
• Drive risk assessments, what-if analysis, inventory reduction, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, Engineering, Analytics, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, SIOP, supply chain analytics, or related functions.
• 2+ years of experience with Kinaxis RapidResponse or a similar advanced planning system.
• 2+ years of experience using SAP ERP systems.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including data analysis, pivot tables, Power Query, XLOOKUP, and forecasting models.
• Strong PowerPoint, executive presentation, cross-functional leadership, and business-influence skills.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting executive SIOP or IBP processes and collaborating directly with customers on forecasting.
• Experience with Power BI or similar business intelligence platforms.
• Experience in manufacturing, industrial, automotive, engine, or consumer products industries.
• APICS CPIM, CSCP, or IBF certification.
• Knowledge of MAPE, forecast bias, forecast attainment, and demand variability KPIs.
