Demand Planner UK & Ireland

Location: Winnersh, United Kingdom; hybrid schedule with 4 office days and 1 day working from home per week

Salary: £38,000–£54,000 per year, depending on experience and legitimate business factors

What you will do

• Develop and maintain SKU-level demand forecasts using SAP IBP, statistical forecasting methods, historical sales trends, and market intelligence.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Operations, manufacturing, supply planning, and distribution teams to create monthly and annual demand plans.
• Lead monthly Demand Review meetings within the S&OP cycle and present forecasts, assumptions, risks, opportunities, and performance metrics.
• Monitor forecast accuracy, forecast bias, month-to-date performance, and new product introduction adherence; investigate variances and implement corrective actions.
• Support product lifecycle planning, including product launches, transitions, maturity, and end-of-life management.
• Lead demand planning activities for Annual Operating Plans and Mid-Year Plans, communicating assumptions and volume projections to senior stakeholders.

Requirements

• 5–8 years of experience in demand planning or a related field within a cross-functional, matrix organization.
• BS or BA degree in a business-related or mathematics-related discipline.
• Experience with demand planning, forecasting, Integrated Business Planning, and Sales & Operations Planning.
• Knowledge of SAP IBP, SAP APO, or equivalent planning systems, plus advanced Excel and data analysis skills.
• Ability to manage forecast accuracy and bias, perform root cause analysis, and communicate insights to senior leadership.
• Fluent written and verbal English required.
