Power Electronics Test Engineer (Battery Storage)

What you will do

• Design, execute, and document verification and validation plans for distributed battery storage systems and power conversion hardware.
• Test and debug DC-DC converters, AC-DC stages, bidirectional converters, and solar MPPT systems.
• Review schematics and PCB layouts for testability.
• Analyze hardware bugs, power component failures, and control anomalies during prototyping and test cycles.
• Perform safe high-power testing with oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, power analyzers, electronic loads, differential probes, and programmable power supplies.
• Develop functional test benches and automated verification tests in collaboration with power electronics, systems, and software engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, or a related field.
• At least 1 year of experience in power electronics development and testing.
• Strong understanding of power electronics fundamentals, conversion, and control.
• Hands-on experience with electrical and embedded system debugging and validation using laboratory and debugging equipment.
• Strong technical writing and communication skills.

Nice to have

• At least 3 years of experience in power electronics converter development.
• Knowledge of industrial environmental reliability standards.
