What you will do
- Provide advanced technical support to authorized dealer technicians through inbound calls and email.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, controls-related, and operational issues across generators, inverters, transfer switches, and battery storage systems.
- Perform on-site troubleshooting, diagnostics, inspections, and repair support as required.
- Document customer interactions, unresolved issues, product failures, and troubleshooting activities.
- Analyze failure trends, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions and product improvements.
- Support warranty processes, authorize concessions, train dealer technicians, and mentor less experienced representatives.
Requirements
- Associate degree or equivalent experience in a relevant technical field.
- At least 3 years of related technical experience.
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems, electrical theory, and AC/DC power fundamentals.
- Advanced knowledge of generator controls, power generation equipment, inverter technologies, battery storage systems, product configuration, and equipment integration.
- Advanced electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills, including diagnostics, root-cause analysis, and creative problem solving.
- Strong communication, customer service, active listening, independent decision-making, and collaboration skills.
