Plant Manager (Manufacturing)

Location: Huntsville, Texas, United States; onsite plant operations

Salary: $130,100–$153,100 per year, plus eligibility for corporate incentive programs.

What you will do

• Set short- and long-range operating objectives and oversee production, field operations, warehousing, shipping and receiving, maintenance, and office management.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, safety procedures, quality standards, and customer requirements.
• Lead, manage, and develop supervisory personnel and build a high-performing plant team.
• Manage operating budgets, analyze profit and loss, recommend capital equipment and expansion, and implement profitability improvements.
• Source materials, negotiate supplier and vendor contracts, and monitor purchasing quality and cost effectiveness.
• Coordinate with other plant managers, regional operations, sales, and corporate personnel while maintaining positive community relations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field strongly preferred; equivalent plant or operations management experience may be considered.
• At least 5 years of manufacturing experience in a leadership role.
• Experience managing P&L, safety, quality, associate development, production, financials, and inventory.
• Strong interpersonal, leadership, communication, collaboration, business, and change-management skills.
• Working knowledge of continuous improvement, team building, associate relations, customer service, purchasing, distribution, marketing, and financial operations.
