Maintenance Technician

Location: Avondale, Pennsylvania, United States; onsite production-plant role

Salary: Typically starts at $28.70 per hour, paid weekly

What you will do

• Operate computer-controlled production systems for mixing raw materials and producing finished products.
• Set up, monitor, test, calibrate, clean, and maintain production machines before and after shifts.
• Troubleshoot operational issues and solve daily production problems with limited supervision.
• Perform equipment safety audits, machine checks, quality tests, and preventive maintenance procedures.
• Operate a forklift and ensure required materials are available for production.
• Maintain accurate records, checklists, activity logs, downtime sheets, and equipment-operation documentation.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of production-plant experience is preferred.
• Ability to read English and follow directions.
• Ability to identify production materials, follow safe practices, and maintain attention to detail.
• Ability to work in dusty, hot, cold, and rainy conditions, lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, and remain standing throughout the workday.
• Willingness to work mandatory overtime, including weekends and holidays.
