Talent Acquisition Specialist (Retail)

Location: Hybrid role partially based in the New York City office; candidates must be local or willing to relocate to the United States and authorized to work in the United States.

Salary: $83,000–$95,000 per year

What you will do

• Execute talent acquisition strategies for new and existing retail stores across North America.
• Create job adverts, select advertising channels, source candidates, and manage agency and external partnerships.
• Conduct initial phone and virtual interviews, recommend candidates, and coordinate interviews and assessment processes.
• Plan and host recruitment events, job fairs, assessment days, and volume hiring campaigns.
• Support US head office recruitment and collaborate with global Talent Acquisition teams in the UK.
• Maintain recruitment data, provide workforce planning insights, and support employer branding, AI adoption, and inclusion initiatives.

Requirements

• Previous experience recruiting retail store roles, including sales associates, team leaders, and specialist positions.
• Experience delivering campaign-based volume recruitment against fixed timelines and start dates.
• Experience planning recruitment events, sourcing venues, coordinating logistics, and hosting events.
• Experience sourcing and filtering candidates through job advertisements, agencies, LinkedIn, and other channels.
• Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems to manage recruitment activity.
• Strong organization, communication, relationship-building, coaching, and attention-to-detail skills.

Nice to have

• Recruitment experience in fast-paced fashion, sports apparel, gym, or health club environments.
• Experience recruiting corporate or head office roles in a retail-focused organization.
• Previous experience with Greenhouse ATS and LinkedIn Recruiter.
• Experience working in international recruitment environments.
