Systems Engineer IV (Semiconductor)

Location: Santa Clara, California, United States; onsite work with remote and onsite support for field personnel as required. Travel: 10% of the time. Relocation eligible.

Salary: $161,000–$221,000 per year

What you will do

• Define and design complex components, modules, and subsystems while contributing to system engineering specifications.
• Coordinate with marketing and project management to understand subsystem requirements and lead architecture selection.
• Analyze subsystem designs, evaluate architectural approaches, and recommend system solutions.
• Build or procure prototypes and test them against detailed specifications and reliability requirements.
• Identify and troubleshoot engineering problems involving serviceability and manufacturability.
• Support system integration, assembly, final testing, and field support for new product designs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 7+ years of engineering experience.
• RF design experience for vacuum systems.
• Expertise in plasma and semiconductor processes.
• Ability to work across electrical, mechanical, physics, algorithms, and software disciplines.
• Ability to work onsite in Santa Clara, California.
