Staff Mechatronic Engineer

Salary: $94,000–$140,000 per year

What you will do

• Develop electromechanical designs from concept through fabrication and mass production.
• Support fabrication, assembly, testing, characterization, and root-cause analysis.
• Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, software, business, OEM, and customer teams to develop next-generation products.
• Travel to domestic and international manufacturing partners to support production-line bring-up.
• Travel to customer locations to provide technical support.
• Perform finite element analysis and electromagnetic simulation and optimization, with training provided.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience designing real-world products.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience designing electromechanical assemblies from concept to fabrication.
• Working knowledge of CNC machining, injection molding, 3D printing, sheet metal stamping, and assembly techniques.
• Strong 3D CAD modeling and mechanical drawing skills, with knowledge of materials, structural mechanics, sensors, and actuators.
• Familiarity with design for manufacturing, performance and reliability testing, electronics, circuits, and hands-on fabrication tools.

Nice to have

• Consumer electronics experience.
• Proficiency with electromagnetic simulation tools such as COMSOL.
• Experience with electromagnetic actuators.
• Self-starter mindset, fast learning, strong work ethic, and effective collaboration.
