Sr. Manager, Vehicle Assembly, Integration & Test (AIT) (Aerospace)

Location: Irvine, California, United States; onsite manufacturing environment

Salary: $160,000–$195,000 USD per year

What you will do

• Lead daily production execution for vehicle subassembly and satellite bus build within Assembly, Integration & Test.
• Translate production plans into daily and weekly priorities for supervisors, technicians, and production personnel.
• Monitor schedule progress, identify risks and constraints, and drive recovery actions to protect delivery dates.
• Coordinate with Planning and Materials on production priorities, kitting, material availability, BOM issues, and floor readiness.
• Own AIT capacity planning across labor, equipment, tooling, facilities, and processes.
• Partner with Quality, Engineering, Systems Integration Engineers, and Test Management to resolve issues, drive corrective actions, and close NCRs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, manufacturing, or a related field preferred, or equivalent practical experience.
• 8+ years of progressive experience in manufacturing, production, assembly, integration, and test operations, preferably in aerospace, defense, space, or another highly regulated environment.
• Experience executing complex production schedules in fast-paced, schedule-driven environments.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing quality systems, configuration control, work instructions, and controlled production processes.
• Experience with production capacity planning, including labor, equipment, tooling, and process requirements.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance are required.
