Manager, Compensation & Equity

Location: New York, New York, United States; onsite

Base salary: $120,000–$150,000 per year, depending on skills and experience

What you will do

• Lead compensation processes for offers, promotions, job changes, market pricing, and pay recommendations.
• Translate compensation programs and pay decisions into hirify.global guidance for employees, managers, and leaders.
• Administer equity programs with Fidelity, Finance, Legal, and payroll, including grants, vesting transactions, reporting, reconciliations, and employee inquiries.
• Manage compensation cycles covering promotions, merit increases, bonuses, and equity planning from configuration through audit, execution, and communications.
• Maintain Workday compensation configuration and data integrity, including grades, compensation plans, stock values, and recurring audits.
• Introduce AI-enabled tools and workflows to improve analysis, market intelligence, efficiency, and decision-making.

Requirements

• 5+ years of progressive broad-based compensation experience, including equity administration and variable compensation.
• Deep knowledge of market pricing, job evaluation, salary structures, incentive compensation, and equity operations.
• Advanced Excel and Google Sheets modeling skills, plus experience with HRIS and equity platforms; Workday and Fidelity preferred.
• Experience using AI tools and automation to streamline compensation processes and improve data-driven decisions.
• Strong judgment, attention to detail, discretion, and ability to explain complex analyses to senior stakeholders.
