Field Service Technician II (X-Ray/CT)

Location: Nashville, Tennessee, USA; daily travel to customer sites in and around the Nashville metropolitan area, including the airport

Salary: $74,360–$100,540 per year, plus a business profit plan and benefits

What you will do

• Troubleshoot, install, repair, and maintain Trace, X-Ray, CT X-Ray, and cargo inspection equipment at customer sites.
• Respond to scheduled, emergency, and non-scheduled service calls while meeting established response targets.
• Complete preventive maintenance, inspections, service documentation, reports, and customer follow-up.
• Manage parts, tools, inventory, equipment calibration, and repair cycle times.
• Provide customer training, technical support, and service-related assistance to other professionals.
• Support site surveys, pilot programs, service sales opportunities, special projects, and product improvement recommendations.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree, related electrical/electronic/mechanical trade certification, military technical training, or more than three years of equivalent related field-service experience.
• At least five years of experience troubleshooting and repairing electrical and electronic systems and equipment in the field.
• Strong communication, customer service, organizational, teamwork, and problem-solving skills; computer literacy and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to travel at short notice, work outside Monday–Friday when required, and provide daily field service in the Nashville area.
• Must obtain SSI access and pass TSA vetting and a federal background investigation; a U.S. personal security clearance may be required.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 80 pounds, operate material-handling equipment, maintain full-body mobility, and work safely around industrial equipment.
