Field Service Engineer (Medtech)

Location: United States of America (Remote); occasional overnight travel and customer-site visits required

Salary: $29.00–$32.00 per hour, based on experience

What you will do

• Install, check out, operate, maintain, repair, and upgrade company equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance and maintain equipment performance and service records.
• Train and guide customer personnel on equipment operation, maintenance, inspection procedures, and techniques.
• Analyze equipment failures, identify causes, and recommend corrective actions.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, quality, and research and development teams to resolve customer concerns and improve equipment efficiency.
• Manage customer communication, company vehicles, parts inventory, test equipment, tools, and other service assets.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in a similar field-based repair position.
• Computer proficiency with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain approval for a corporate credit card.
• Strong verbal and written communication, independent thinking, attention to detail, manual dexterity, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds, work extended hours including weekends, holidays, and after-hours, and maintain customer-site credentialing requirements.
• Must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available now or in the future. English proficiency is required for policies, procedures, training materials, and workplace communications.
