Director, Global Benefits

Location: Santa Clara, California; primarily in-office at the Santa Clara office

Annual base salary: $211,000–$338,000 USD, with potential incentive pay and/or equity.

What you will do

• Design and evaluate global health, retirement, time-off, and well-being programs across operating regions.
• Administer the U.S. 401(k) Fiduciary Committee and oversee Works Council interactions, statutory audits, testing, international governance, and SOX compliance.
• Partner with Finance on healthcare cost forecasting, utilization analysis, multi-million-dollar benefit investments, broker performance, and vendor service levels.
• Lead benefits due diligence and integration for mergers and acquisitions, including establishing programs in new international markets.
• Coordinate open enrollment and global benefits education campaigns with Internal Communications.
• Act as the subject matter expert for complex benefits inquiries and collaborate with Finance, Legal, HRBPs, and executive leadership.

Requirements

• Experience designing, governing, and executing international health, welfare, retirement, and statutory leave programs across the U.S., Europe, Middle East, and Asia.
• Experience managing large-scale benefits budgets, vendor relationships, healthcare cost forecasting, statutory compliance, Works Councils, and 401(k) fiduciary responsibilities.
• Demonstrated success leading cross-functional M&A benefits integration and establishing programs in new countries.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with executive leaders, Finance, and HR teams.
• Hands-on experience with Workday and modern enterprise HR technology ecosystems.
• Ability to work primarily from the Santa Clara office in accordance with company policy.
