GMP Technician

Location: West Greenwich, Rhode Island, United States; onsite

Salary: $21.70–$23.20 per hour

What you will do

• Maintain assigned GMP areas in a clean, orderly, and controlled condition.
• Perform sanitization and repetitive cleaning tasks for walls, floors, windows, wipe-downs, and shutdown cleaning.
• Follow customer and SBM safety rules, SOPs, procedures, and personal protective equipment requirements.
• Complete daily FN logs, work orders, punch-list items, and maintenance issue reports accurately.
• Work with shift leads, supervisors, coworkers, managers, and customers in a professional manner.
• Provide area coverage when general staff shortages occur and drive to work locations or customer facilities when required.

Requirements

• Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals, and other documents.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of cleaning methods, equipment upkeep, cleaning compounds, and safe chemical use.
• Completion of required safety, task, chemical safety, and annual qualification training.
• Ability to work onsite in West Greenwich, Rhode Island, on the Sunday–Thursday, 11:00 p.m.–7:30 a.m. shift.
• Ability to lift or move up to 35 pounds and complete assigned physical duties.

Nice to have

• High school diploma or GED.
• Six months to one year of experience.
• CPR/AED/First Aid certification.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record when driving is required.
• Forklift certification.
