Senior Manager, Industrial Engineering

Location: New York, New York, United States; onsite

Base salary: $145,000–$175,000 per year, depending on skills and experience.

What you will do

• Develop and own engineered labor standards, staffing models, and headcount inputs across hirify.global’s physical experiences.
• Define operating requirements and sizing standards for lanes, verification and enrollment experiences, hardware placement, and queue management.
• Lead checkpoint design for new and existing airport locations.
• Build demand forecasts and capacity plans for programs, launches, surge periods, and events.
• Use time studies, process analysis, and labor optimization to improve productivity, capacity, throughput, and member experience.
• Partner with Operations, Finance, Workforce Management, airport, and airline stakeholders to turn quantitative analysis into operating decisions.

Requirements

• 6–8+ years of experience in industrial engineering, operations research, workforce planning, or a related analytical function.
• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, or a related field.
• Experience in a physical operations environment such as transportation, retail, hospitality, or aviation.
• Strong quantitative skills in capacity modeling, time studies, and labor standard development.
• Proficiency with Excel, SQL, Python, or similar data analysis tools; forecasting model experience is preferred.
• Experience with Lean methodology and process improvement frameworks, plus the ability to communicate technical analysis to non-technical stakeholders.
