Senior Director, Operations

Location: Bozeman, Montana, USA

Salary: $190,000–$240,000 per year, plus a 26% annual bonus opportunity and a $37,500 annual equity award.

Develops and manufactures biological and chemical indicators that assess sterilization and disinfection effectiveness for pharmaceutical, healthcare, and dental applications.

What you will do

• Develop and execute operational strategies supporting sustainable growth, profitability, scalability, and operational excellence.
• Lead daily operations, process optimization, continuous improvement, quality, compliance, and cost-reduction initiatives.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the operations team while collaborating with executive leadership and cross-functional departments.
• Establish KPIs, performance dashboards, reporting, and corrective actions based on operational data.
• Develop and manage budgets, resource allocation, forecasting, and operational cost controls.
• Manage risk, business continuity, health and safety compliance, organizational change, and innovation initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• 12–18 years of progressively responsible operations management experience, including at least 10 years in a senior leadership role.
• Experience managing large teams and cross-functional projects, with strong leadership, interpersonal, team-building, communication, and presentation skills.
• Strong knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, or Agile operational methodologies.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, budgeting, forecasting, financial management, and cost-control skills.
• Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle, CRM tools, and business intelligence software such as Tableau or Power BI.

• Six Sigma Black Belt or Green Belt certification.
