Maintenance Supervisor

Location: Onsite five days per week in Minneapolis, Minnesota; work site at Thermo King in Bloomington, Minnesota

Annual base salary: $91,516.66–$128,379.99

What you will do

• Lead, train, and mentor maintenance technicians in a union manufacturing environment.
• Build and manage preventive maintenance programs and oversee corrective repairs for facilities, production equipment, and warehouse vehicles.
• Maintain building infrastructure, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, physical security, and related systems.
• Coordinate external vendors and contractors, including service schedules, quotes, onsite execution, and invoice accuracy.
• Partner with Environmental, Health, and Safety teams on OSHA compliance, safety meetings, facility audits, and risk mitigation.
• Manage spare-parts inventory, support maintenance budgeting, and use Brightly CMMS to track work orders, equipment history, KPIs, and performance trends.

Requirements

• High school diploma with a relevant trade certification, or a two-year associate degree or higher in a related technical field.
• At least five years of industrial maintenance or facilities management experience, including two years in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, air compressors, and commercial HVAC.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and equipment manuals.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, vendor negotiation ability, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with a CMMS; Brightly experience is a plus.
