Maintenance Manager (HVAC and Building Systems)

Location: Redpoint Starkville, Starkville, Mississippi, United States. The role is performed at the assigned property, may require periodic travel, and includes on-call responsibilities.

What you will do

• Manage building services, preventive maintenance programs, repairs, inspections, and maintenance documentation.
• Oversee HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, building automation, fire protection, life safety, roofing, elevators, generators, UPS, and related building systems.
• Lead Facilities Technicians, assign and review work orders, verify service quality, and ensure requests are completed to company standards.
• Manage facilities budgets, spare parts, tools, contractors, vendor bids, deliveries, schedules, and contracted work.
• Conduct property inspections, identify safety and code issues, prepare reports, and recommend corrective actions.
• Hire, train, and develop facilities team members while supporting emergency preparedness and responding to urgent repairs.

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED, trade school diploma, or military training.
• 8 years of relevant experience managing building systems in multi-unit residential properties, including 5 years of supervisory experience.
• 5 years of experience with building automation and life safety systems.
• EPA 608 Universal and HVAC certifications; Certified Pool Operator certification or willingness to obtain it within six months.
• Boiler operator or Stationary Engineer certificate/license, expertise in plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and mechanical systems, and basic Microsoft Office and CMMS knowledge.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to stand for 8 hours or longer and lift up to 100 pounds as needed.
