Maintenance Mechanic

Location: Thorofare, New Jersey, United States; onsite facility role

What you will do

• Troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and structural systems.
• Complete interior and exterior maintenance, including painting, drywall, carpentry, lighting, plumbing, sidewalks, parking areas, and drainage.
• Inspect air-handling units and service belts, filters, and lubrication components while maintaining activity logs.
• Operate maintenance and cleaning equipment and perform custodial duties as needed.
• Maintain inventories, safety data sheets, records, tools, supplies, and equipment.
• Support other departments with event setup and cart placement or repairs.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of building maintenance experience covering carpentry, light electrical, mechanical, and plumbing work.
• High school diploma or GED preferred; technical school certification or training preferred.
• Valid driver's license and ability to obtain DOT clearance.
• Skills in painting, electrical work, plumbing, drywall, equipment diagnosis, and basic electrical systems.
• Basic knowledge of fire protection hydraulic and alarm systems, safety rules, hazards, and accident prevention.
• Ability to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays and lift up to 100 pounds.
