Senior Staff Technical Program Manager - Compute Platform (Quantum Computing)

Location: Onsite at an office in Bothell, Washington; Boulder, Colorado; or College Park, Maryland, United States

Base salary: $1–$1 USD, with total compensation also including bonus, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Own end-to-end delivery of the application platform, developer tools, and compiler roadmap.
• Translate technical vision into milestones, timelines, delivery tracking, and risk mitigation plans.
• Coordinate concurrent programs across four engineering teams and approximately 40 engineers.
• Maintain alignment between PRDs, trackers, and Jira, including automated reconciliation checks.
• Track sustaining work, on-call load, technical debt, dependencies, and long-pole delivery risks.
• Present concise, data-driven program status to senior technical leadership and support roadmap proposals.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience managing technical programs and delivering against aggressive timelines.
• Experience leading technical teams through ambiguity and working with developer tools, SDKs, compilers, or adjacent platform software.
• Technical fluency for discussing scope and trade-offs with engineering leads, including the ability to read and reason about code.
• Experience building or automating reconciliation between planning documents and ticket systems.
• AI must be a core part of the working approach, including experience building agent-driven program management workflows.
• Employment is subject to U.S. export-control and government-contract requirements, including verification of U.S. Person status or applicable authorization.

Nice to have

• Experience establishing program tracking, reporting infrastructure, and operating cadences from scratch.
• Customer-facing technical experience and capacity or staffing modeling experience.
• Experience writing and reviewing PRDs and ERDs.
• Working knowledge of quantum computing; quantum background is not required.
