Insurance Manager (AI)

Location: Must be based in New York, NY (On-site)

Salary: $207,000 – $271,000

What you will do

• Own the entire insurance program lifecycle, including design, broker selection, placement, and renewal.
• Manage claims from first notice to resolution, coordinating with legal counsel, carriers, and adjusters.
• Drive loss control and property risk engineering across operating sites and large-scale construction projects.
• Analyze exposure data to ensure timely and accurate renewal submissions to underwriters.
• Review and set insurance requirements in leases, EPC contracts, and vendor agreements to mitigate coverage gaps.

Requirements

• Experience managing commercial property and casualty insurance programs on the corporate or brokerage side.
• Proven track record of running claims to resolution, including large or contested cases.
• Field experience in property risk engineering and loss control.
• Ability to interpret complex insurance terms in contracts and explain them to technical and executive stakeholders.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Nice to have

• Insurance designations such as CPCU or ARM.
• Experience in capital-intensive or construction-heavy industries like data centers, energy, or semiconductors.
• Knowledge of builder's risk, OCIP/CCIP, and cargo insurance programs.
