Business Operations & Finance Intern (AI)

Location: Onsite five days per week at the Torrance, California headquarters in the Los Angeles area; remote and hybrid arrangements are not considered.

Salary: $34 per hour

What you will do

• Support accounts payable, recurring finance transactions, and financial reporting.
• Identify repetitive business operations workflows and develop practical automation solutions.
• Build lightweight internal tools and automations using AI, APIs, scripting, and automation platforms.
• Improve information flow between operational systems and reduce manual data entry and follow-up.
• Build automated reports and dashboards for operational and financial priorities.
• Support CRM, contract management, knowledge-management, intake, approval, notification, and tracking workflows.

Requirements

• Be enrolled in at least a bachelor's degree program and entering the junior or senior year.
• Have prior internship experience or more than one year of significant project, organization, or relevant work experience.
• Demonstrate strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, interpersonal, and technical communication skills.
• Be able to manage multiple priorities, work independently and collaboratively, and operate effectively in a changing environment.
• Be eligible under U.S. Government export regulations as a U.S. citizen or national, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee, or be eligible to obtain the required authorizations.
• Work onsite five days per week at the Torrance headquarters.

Nice to have

• Experience building automations, internal tools, or technical projects with scripting, APIs, AI tools, or automation platforms.
• Experience using Python or another programming or scripting language.
• GPA of 3.5 or above.
• University club, organization, or leadership experience.
