RN Health Coach (Evernorth)

Location: Hybrid role based part time in the Mobile, Alabama office and part time working from home. Home internet must use cable broadband or fiber optic service with at least 10 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload speeds.

What you will do

• Provide customer coaching and support focused on stress, anxiety, depression, and other health challenges.
• Conduct stress, anxiety, and depression screenings and targeted health assessments.
• Develop personalized, evidence-based health improvement plans and help customers overcome barriers to better health.
• Use biometric data and motivational interviewing to improve clinical outcomes.
• Lead group coaching, wellness challenges, health seminars, and other health promotion activities.
• Coordinate with clinical programs, client-specific programs, and matrix partners while tracking clinical targets and outcomes.

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted RN license in the applicable state; a compact license or additional state licenses may be required.
• At least one year of experience in health coaching, health education, or health promotion.
• Current ACLS, BLS, CPR, or AED certification.
• Associate’s degree in Nursing required; bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.
• High-speed internet, a quiet home office, strong presentation skills, and the ability to work independently.
• Customer-focused communication, collaboration, administrative ability, and proficiency with computer and software applications.

Nice to have

• Behavioral health or stress-reduction experience.
• Master’s degree in psychology or a related field.
• Chronic disease management experience.
• NBHWC certification or motivational interviewing training and experience.
