Mortgage Loan Officer (Mortgage Lending)

What you will do

• Originate, acquire, and market residential mortgage loans.
• Build and maintain referral partnerships with Realtors, builders, financial planners, and local professionals.
• Develop marketing strategies to generate new mortgage business.
• Structure loans in line with member needs, federal requirements, and state guidelines.
• Provide member service, explain lending programs and policies, and analyze loan documentation.
• Cross-sell additional credit union products and services.

Requirements

• At least two years of experience as a Mortgage Loan Originator.
• Proven external sales experience and a record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
• Ability to build and maintain high-quality referral networks.
• Strong knowledge of agency and investor guidelines.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively; a college degree is preferred but not required.
