Platform Engineer

Location: Remote from Pennsylvania, United States; US citizenship required

What you will do

• Design, implement, administer, and support enterprise cloud platforms, integrations, databases, and application services.
• Define architectures, system designs, component requirements, and technical solutions for complex systems and infrastructure.
• Support Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, Oracle middleware, databases, enterprise applications, and related platform technologies.
• Develop integrations, APIs, automation solutions, and infrastructure-as-code workflows using cloud-native and DevOps practices.
• Analyze architecture options, lead improvement initiatives, resolve complex platform issues, and support technical decision-making.
• Provide technical leadership, coaching, presentations, and consultation to developers, business users, customers, and management.

Requirements

• US citizenship is required due to contractual and access requirements.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a closely related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in an IT discipline.
• Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, Oracle WebLogic, Oracle Integration Cloud, Oracle Data Integrator, Oracle APEX, Oracle ERP Cloud, and Oracle Autonomous Database environments.
• Experience with Oracle database administration, performance tuning, backup and recovery, cloud security controls, identity and access management, and security compliance.
• Experience with APIs, automation, infrastructure as code, scripting, troubleshooting, Agile, and DevOps delivery models.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree.
• OCI or other cloud platform certifications, including AWS, Azure, OCI, or GCP.
• DevOps or platform engineering certifications.
• Experience with additional databases, data warehousing, Java, JavaScript frameworks, SQL, HTML/XML, Hadoop, PEGA, SAS, or related enterprise technologies.
