Engineer, Platform Engineering & Reliability Specialist (Azure)

Location: Atlanta, Georgia; hybrid work with at least 3 days per week in-office

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure across compute, networking, storage, identity, and container orchestration.
• Develop infrastructure-as-code and reusable automation modules, including code reviews, testing, and automated validation.
• Build and support deployment pipelines, release automation, and workflow orchestration across environments.
• Improve reliability through observability, service-level tracking, incident response, and root cause analysis.
• Plan and test disaster recovery, including failover validation, backup and restore verification, and remediation of recovery gaps.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3–6 years of experience in cloud infrastructure, DevOps, or platform engineering.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and Terraform.
• Experience with deployment pipelines, scripting, automation, monitoring, alerting, incident response, and cloud security controls.
• Experience with containerized workloads and orchestration platforms is preferred.

Nice to have

• Relevant cloud certifications or equivalent professional training.
• Experience with GitOps, package management for containerized applications, or multi-cloud environments.
• Background in capital markets, fintech, or another regulated industry.
