Product Manager - Utilization Management

Location: Remote in Pennsylvania, United States. If located within a 50-mile radius of a Highmark office in Pennsylvania, Delaware, West Virginia, or New York, the role is hybrid and requires three days in the office. The position is office-based with a physical worksite required and includes 0–25% travel.

What you will do

• Define the product value proposition, vision, strategy, roadmap, priorities, and execution plan.
• Own the portfolio of utilization management products and tools, including the product backlog and prioritization process.
• Align executives, clinical leaders, IT teams, vendors, delivery teams, and other stakeholders around product decisions.
• Use metrics, qualitative feedback, and competitive insights to identify product improvement opportunities.
• Represent the product in governance meetings and participate in sprint and milestone reviews.
• Identify cross-product and cross-customer value and shared learnings.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in science, technology, mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent experience and education.
• At least three years of product management experience, including three years with the software lifecycle.
• At least one year of advanced domain experience and experience with utilization management or related healthcare products.
• Knowledge of utilization management principles, healthcare delivery systems, medical terminology, and relevant clinical guidelines.
• Strong stakeholder management, analytical and critical-thinking, problem-solving, communication, presentation, and product demonstration skills.
• Must work from Pennsylvania for the remote arrangement; hybrid office attendance applies within a 50-mile radius of Highmark offices in PA, DE, WV, or NY.
