VP, Product Operations (Healthcare Technology)

Location: Remote, United States; occasional travel to offices in Mississauga and Salt Lake City is required for onboarding, team events, and semi-annual or annual meetings.

What you will do

• Lead annual, quarterly, and ongoing portfolio planning across Product and Engineering.
• Facilitate prioritization, portfolio reviews, and cross-functional planning around strategy, capacity, dependencies, and resource trade-offs.
• Establish governance frameworks, planning cadences, operating forums, and decision-making mechanisms.
• Develop portfolio performance reporting, operational metrics, dashboards, and executive-level insights.
• Identify execution risks and dependencies, recommend mitigation strategies, and improve predictability and delivery outcomes.
• Lead, coach, and develop Product Operations leaders and team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in Product Operations, Portfolio Management, PMO, Product Management, Strategy, or related business operations within a complex technology organization.
• Experience leading planning, governance, portfolio management, and operational processes across large cross-functional teams.
• Strong analytical, strategic, operational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience influencing senior leaders and collaborating across Product, Engineering, Finance, Strategy, and other business functions.
• Experience leading managers and professional teams, including talent development, performance management, and organizational effectiveness.

Nice to have

• MBA or another advanced degree in Business, Technology, or a related field.
• Experience in SaaS, healthcare technology, or another technology-driven environment.
• Experience improving Product Operations, portfolio management, governance, or planning practices during organizational growth and change.
