Engineering | Level 2 (Mainframe)

Location: New York, New York; hybrid work with 2–3 days per week in the office

Salary: $52–$55 per hour

What you will do

• Operate and monitor IBM mainframe systems in a 24x7 Command Center.
• Manage privileged mainframe access while following security and operational policies.
• Diagnose operational issues and help maintain mission-critical mainframe availability.
• Collaborate with colleagues using phone, chat, Teams, and Zoom.
• Create and improve technical procedure documentation.

Requirements

• Level 2 experience in Mainframe Engineering and a bachelor's degree.
• Knowledge of IBM Z Mainframe, z/OS, OS/390 Operations, and JCL batch problem diagnosis.
• Understanding of NDM and FTP data transfer protocols.
• Knowledge of OPC/TWS and ServiceNow ticketing software.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Ability to understand security, cybersecurity, and policy training materials; proficiency with Windows, Excel, Word, and Outlook.
