Sr. Analyst FP&A - Revenue

Location: Remote

Salary: $73,000–$98,000 annual base pay, with potential annual discretionary bonus.

What you will do

• Prepare recurring revenue, billable hours, utilization, realization, margin, WIP, AR, write-off, backlog, and revenue reporting for monthly close, forecasts, and leadership reviews.
• Analyze revenue performance by practice, segment, partner, service line, and client, identifying volume, rate, mix, utilization, billing, WIP aging, and collection drivers.
• Support revenue forecast models using billable hours, staffing capacity, realization, backlog, pipeline, rate changes, seasonality, and client activity.
• Support M&A integration into budgeting and reporting, including revenue mapping, baseline setup, coding alignment, and forecast integration.
• Partner with accounting and billing teams on revenue close support, WIP reserves, unbilled WIP, AR aging, and reporting controls.
• Build dashboards and provide commentary and recommendations on revenue leakage, scope creep, write-downs, staffing mix, pricing impacts, and cash-conversion risks.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Analytics, Economics, or a related field.
• 4+ years of FP&A, revenue analytics, financial analysis, professional services finance, or related analytical experience.
• Experience with revenue forecasting, operational metrics, variance analysis, financial modeling, and management reporting.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to connect revenue, utilization, realization, WIP, AR, and staffing metrics to financial performance.
• Strong Excel, reporting, dashboarding, and systems skills, with experience improving recurring analytical processes.
• Experience using automation, data tools, or AI-enabled analysis for revenue reporting, dashboards, variance explanations, WIP/AR analysis, and forecast support.
