Director, Client Onboarding & Implementation (Healthcare)

Location: Remote within the United States. Salary zones include standard US labor markets; hires are not currently budgeted for Zone D markets such as San Francisco Bay Area, New York City, or San Jose.

Base salary: $163,830–$250,668 per year.

What you will do

• Lead and develop implementation leaders, consultants, project managers, and related client-facing professionals.
• Oversee standard, complex, and transformational client launches across strategy, resourcing, governance, execution, and post-launch transition.
• Establish launch-readiness standards, operating rhythms, escalation paths, quality controls, and portfolio governance.
• Partner with Sales, Client Success, Product, Engineering/Systems, Operations, Clinical, and Support to align dependencies and resolve critical issues.
• Guide product, systems, integration, claims, operational, and member-support readiness for client launches.
• Use client feedback, implementation outcomes, metrics, and retrospectives to improve methodologies, playbooks, quality, retention, and future growth.

Requirements

• 8+ years of progressive experience in SaaS implementation, client onboarding, implementation consulting, program management, or project management; 10+ years preferred.
• 3+ years leading and developing client-facing implementation or project management professionals, including managers where applicable.
• Experience leading complex multi-workstream implementations with technical integrations, operational readiness, cross-functional dependencies, and executive stakeholders.
• Strong experience with implementation governance, risk and escalation management, quality improvement, executive presence, and client leadership.
• Experience building scalable methodologies, playbooks, standards, and operating processes.
• Experience in healthcare, employee benefits, health technology, or a closely related ecosystem, plus a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

Nice to have

• Experience with healthcare benefits administration, claims operations, carrier ecosystems, or healthcare data and integration environments.
• Experience leading organizational change management or operating-model changes.
• PMP, CSM, or another relevant project or program management certification.
• Experience with Salesforce, Cloud Coach, Jira, or similar implementation portfolio systems.
• Experience with operational and client-performance metrics, dashboards, trend analysis, mentoring leaders, and succession planning.
