What you will do

• Lead the Floor Care Front-End Innovation team across corded vacuums, cordless stick and handheld platforms, and hard floor extraction systems.
• Drive concept creation, design storytelling, early platform exploration, and the floor care innovation roadmap.
• Inspire Industrial Designers and Product Design Engineers to create physical and visual prototypes.
• Partner with Mechanical Engineering, R&D, Product Development, and Product Marketing to move concepts toward scalable products.
• Apply expertise in motor systems, suction architecture, filtration, battery systems, fluid management, extraction mechanics, materials, and manufacturing.
• Build a hands-on studio culture focused on iterative sketching, advanced prototyping, technical feasibility, and invention.

Requirements

• Degree in Product Design Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related design-and-engineering field; a PDE background is highly valued.
• 15+ years of product design and innovation experience, preferably in high-volume consumer goods.
• Meaningful experience in floor care, home appliances, or adjacent categories.
• Command of floor care technology across at least two platforms: corded, cordless, or hard floor extraction and wet-dry systems.
• Portfolio of consumer products demonstrating design excellence, storytelling, and successful commercialization.
• Experience leading creative teams and a strong technical foundation in high-volume manufacturing.
