Senior Category Manager, Indirect Materials & Services (Semiconductor)

Location: Santa Clara, CA, United States

Expected base pay: $127,270–$190,000 per annum, plus eligible bonus and equity plans.

What you will do

• Develop and execute category strategies for test and lab equipment, engineering services, and indirect materials and services.
• Lead RFIs, RFPs, supplier selection, negotiations, contract execution, and supplier onboarding.
• Analyze spend, market trends, and supplier capabilities to identify savings, risk mitigation, and innovation opportunities.
• Manage supplier relationships, business reviews, performance improvement, risk assessments, and continuity planning.
• Source laboratory instruments, calibration and maintenance services, engineering contractors, technical resources, and corporate services.
• Manage contracts throughout their lifecycle and track savings, cost avoidance, and value creation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.
• 7+ years of procurement, strategic sourcing, or category management experience.
• Strong negotiation, contract management, supplier relationship management, analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proven ability to deliver measurable cost savings and business value.
• Experience with test and lab equipment, engineering services, contingent labor, or technical service providers is preferred.
• Experience in technology, semiconductor, manufacturing, or engineering environments and knowledge of SRM and TCO methodologies are preferred.
