Electronics Engineer (Satellite Manufacturing)

Location: Based onsite in Harwell, UK; hybrid status is listed, and legal right to work in the UK is required

What you will do

• Integrate and validate electronic assemblies used in satellite manufacturing.
• Support new product introduction and daily production activities.
• Develop and run electronic test procedures, validation setups, and diagnostic tools.
• Troubleshoot and repair PCBs and electronic systems during assembly and testing.
• Analyse production and test data, lead root cause investigations, and implement corrective actions.
• Create and maintain schematics, wiring diagrams, test documentation, and component traceability records.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of analogue and digital electronics, PCB design, and component selection.
• Experience fault-finding and repairing electronic assemblies with oscilloscopes, multimeters, and logic analysers.
• Hands-on soldering and rework experience with surface-mount and through-hole components.
• Working knowledge of IPC standards and ESD-controlled environments.
• Ability to define, follow, and improve electronic test and validation processes.
• Legal right to work in the UK is required; applications and CVs must be submitted in English.
