Class 1 Tramper Driver (Chemicals)

Location: Widnes, United Kingdom. The role is based at the Widnes transport site and requires candidates to be UK residents currently living in the UK with the right to work in the UK.

Salary: £40,051.56 per annum, plus quarterly performance-based bonus, overnight subsistence allowance, and overtime.

What you will do

• Drive Class 1 articulated vehicles and deliver chemicals and ingredients safely to customer sites across the hirify.global network.
• Communicate with customers at their sites and provide a high standard of service.
• Comply with safety processes, procedures, transport legislation, and company compliance targets.
• Understand, prioritise, and escalate customer feedback and requests to internal teams.
• Complete specialist pump-over deliveries directly into customer tanks where applicable.
• Operate dedicated DAF automatic vehicles and other vehicles when required.

Requirements

• UK residency and current UK residence are required, along with the right to work in the UK.
• Professional HGV driving experience and a commitment to safe, efficient driving.
• ADR licence and Driver CPC; training may be provided through an agreement for successful candidates who do not currently hold them.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and deliver consistent customer service.
• Comfort using an iPhone and mobile applications.
