Fund Accounting Manager (AI)

Location: Remote within Southern California with periodic onsite meetings in the Irvine, California office

Salary: $120,000–$140,000 annually, plus potential performance-based annual bonus

Private markets investment firm providing private equity, private credit, and infrastructure portfolio solutions and managing more than $95 billion in assets.

What you will do

• Oversee the day-to-day accounting operations for investment funds.
• Establish and review accounting policies, procedures, internal controls, and processes.
• Produce timely and accurate financial reports and information.
• Coordinate with the external accounting firm during year-end audits and review audit reports before issuance.
• Respond to investor requests for reports and information.
• Mentor and develop accounting staff.

Requirements

• 6–10 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Experience with GAAP financial reporting, preferably for investment companies, registered funds, and funds of funds.
• Experience planning and performing financial statement audits.
• Proficiency with accounting technology and artificial intelligence.
• Financial analysis, management, mentoring, communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
• Must be located in Southern California and able to attend periodic onsite meetings in Irvine.

Nice to have

• CPA or Chartered Accountant qualification.
