Senior Director, Corporate Development (Healthcare)

Location: Fully remote, but candidates must reside in Atlanta, Georgia, United States. Future work models may include hybrid presence at the associated metro-area hub office.

Salary: $196,733–$258,212 per year, plus equity grants and annual performance bonuses.

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end corporate development execution across M&A, investments, divestitures, and strategic partnerships.
• Manage target sourcing, market mapping, valuation, financial modeling, due diligence, negotiations, approvals, closing, and integration planning.
• Define integration plans, synergy and value-capture targets, post-close KPIs, and governance with operating partners.
• Build thesis-driven market landscapes, target universes, build/buy/partner recommendations, and prioritized opportunity pipelines.
• Lead enterprise-wide financial and capital modeling to support growth initiatives and capital allocation decisions.
• Evaluate strategic initiatives, new market entries, and new business lines with the Corporate Strategy team while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 12+ years of progressive experience in analytical financial roles with significant leadership responsibilities.
• 10+ years using expert financial modeling skills to develop actionable insights, strategies, and financial plans, particularly in corporate development.
• 8+ years of corporate development experience involving M&A financial modeling, valuation, and negotiation.
• 7+ years collaborating with, influencing, and presenting to executives, including C-suite and Board members.
• Must reside in Atlanta, Georgia, United States.

Nice to have

• Experience in strategy consulting, financial services, insurance, private equity, venture capital, or investment banking.
• Healthcare industry experience and deep market knowledge.
• Advanced degree or professional designation such as an MBA or CFA.
