Project Manager (Aerospace MRO)

Location: Columbus, Mississippi, United States; 90% onsite. Minimal domestic and international travel is required.

What you will do

• Lead aircraft maintenance, repair, and overhaul programs involving multifunctional teams.
• Align contract requirements and business objectives with engineering, operations, procurement, and repair-site resources.
• Build and maintain master plans, repair campaign schedules, capacity assessments, forecasts, and action plans.
• Manage customer agreements, contractual requirements, delivery schedules, costs, and technical specifications.
• Track financial performance, customer satisfaction, forecasting accuracy, and on-time completion.
• Coordinate subcontractors, review their performance and proposals, and resolve schedule, quality, and delivery issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Program Management, or equivalent applicable experience.
• At least four years of project management experience in a production or technical environment.
• Financial and budgeting experience, with the ability to understand technical data packages.
• Strong planning, crisis management, problem-solving, and work-package development skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Suite and some SAP or similar-system knowledge.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Experience with aircraft completions, maintenance, and repair.
• Knowledge of FAA regulations and aircraft design, certification, or mission equipment packages.
• Project or program management certification.
• A&P certification.

• Temporary contract assignment with no specified end date; the assignment may be extended or shortened as needed.
• Contractors are employed by a third-party vendor and assigned to hirify.global in America.
• Work takes place primarily at a helicopter manufacturing and assembly site and North American Center of Excellence.
• Production-floor work requires appropriate personal protective equipment, including steel-toed shoes and hearing and eye protection as applicable.
• The role includes occasional travel, physical movement through office and production areas, and handling equipment weighing up to 30 pounds.
